Verticals
Trades where the record says when
We pick trades where a public record tells you a building has to act, and when. One is live. Others are being researched.

How we choose a vertical
A good vertical has three things. A rule that makes a building act. A public record that shows when a building is affected, such as a citation, an inspection report or a permit. And installers or contractors who can do the work and want to hear about it early.
If any one of those is missing, the leads turn into a list again, and lists are not what we sell.

Live: ERRCS / BDA
Live
Emergency responder radio coverage
In-building radio systems for firefighters, also called BDA systems or public safety DAS. Every system leaves a trail on the public record: a permit, a final inspection, then a test every year. When a permit stalls or expires, or a test only partly passes, the owner needs another firm.
Product: the South Florida ERRCS Permit and Competitor Watch for Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, priced per county.
Buyers: two-way radio, fire alarm and DAS firms.
Coverage: three South Florida counties live; other Florida counties next. See coverage.
The owner side
Owners research the rules on ERRCSCheck, a neutral, source-cited reference with a building checker and requirements by county. Building managers keep their tests on schedule with BDACheck, a free test reminder and test log.
Both sites explain the rules the same way no matter who buys from us.

Coming: condo repairs after inspections
Researching
Condo and co-op buildings go through inspections, and some inspections lead to repair work the association has to plan and fund. Boards publish agendas and reports when that happens. We are looking at which of those records are public and reliable enough to turn into alerts for engineers, restoration contractors and other trades.
Nothing is for sale here yet. If your firm does this work, tell us the counties you care about.

Coming: septic deadlines
Researching
Some local governments set dates by which properties must upgrade or connect away from septic systems. Where those dates and the affected parcels are published, a property owner has a deadline and a contractor has a reason to call. We are reviewing which programs publish enough detail to do this well.
Nothing is for sale here yet either. Septic, plumbing and site contractors can join the interest list through the contact form.

Questions people ask
Can I ask for a vertical you do not cover?
Yes. Use the contact form and tell us the trade and the counties. Real buyer demand is how we decide what to build next.
When will the coming verticals launch?
We have not set dates. A vertical launches only after we have found reliable public sources for it and checked a sample of records by hand.
