How this is built
Every Monday we read the permit and code systems below, keep records that are ERRCS, BDA or in-building radio work, join records that share a parcel or street address into one building, and sort each building by what the record shows. Contacts are entity level: the association from the state condominium file, a management company where public, and the association's Sunbiz filing once it is looked up by hand. We do not list personal emails or cell numbers.

What the labels mean
- Cited: a radio-signal citation on the public record, no installer permit after it.
- Opening: expired with no final, withdrawn, cancelled, no progress for more than 90 days, partial pass, or a Phase 1 RF assessment with no installer.
- Active: an open permit that is moving.
- Finished system: a final inspection or passed test is on the record.
Limits we tell you about
- Annual test dates and some final dates are estimated and labeled so.
- Miami-Dade's county feed does not record finals for city-inspected permits; those rows say so.
- Cities without a searchable portal (Pompano Beach, Hallandale Beach, unincorporated Palm Beach County and others) are not in this digest yet.
